By accessing or using the Lean Matters Consulting website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
Services Description
Lean Matters Consulting provides operational consulting services for law firms and medical practices. Our services include operational assessments, process improvement consulting, revenue cycle optimization, and related advisory services.
Free Assessment
We offer a complimentary 30-minute operational assessment. This assessment is provided at no cost and without obligation. The purpose is to understand your challenges and determine if our services are a good fit for your needs.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Lean Matters Consulting and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
Confidentiality
For Law Firm Clients
We understand and respect attorney-client privilege. We do not access privileged communications or work product. All client information is treated as strictly confidential, and we execute confidentiality agreements as appropriate.
For Medical Practice Clients
We comply with HIPAA requirements. We do not request or require access to protected health information (PHI) during our assessments. When necessary, we execute Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) as required by law.
Limitation of Liability
Lean Matters Consulting provides recommendations and guidance based on our expertise and analysis. However, we cannot guarantee specific results or outcomes. Our liability is limited to the fees paid for our services.
We are not responsible for:
- Decisions made based on our recommendations
- Implementation challenges or failures
- Changes in market conditions or regulations
- Third-party service provider performance
Professional Standards
Our recommendations are designed to comply with applicable professional standards, including ABA Model Rules for law firms and HIPAA for medical practices. However, clients are responsible for ensuring their own compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Payment Terms
For paid engagements, payment terms will be specified in the engagement agreement. Typically, we require a deposit before beginning work, with the balance due upon completion or according to a payment schedule.
Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement with written notice. Fees for work completed prior to termination are due and payable. Any prepaid fees for uncompleted work will be refunded on a prorated basis.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of our website and services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
